Curious Knowledge

Editorial policy

Curious Knowledge aims to make explanations engaging without making them more certain than the evidence allows. We favour clear distinctions, useful context, and language that lets readers see what a claim does and does not establish.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual claims against reliable material appropriate to the subject and review explanations for accuracy and meaning. We separate established accounts from interpretation, and avoid presenting a neat anecdote as proof. When the available information is uncertain, disputed, or incomplete, we make that clear rather than smoothing away the uncertainty.

Independence

Editorial choices are made for their interest and value to readers. A commercial relationship does not buy a favourable assessment or control our conclusions. We do not present promotional claims as independent editorial judgement.

Corrections

If you spot an error or an unclear passage, contact us through the Contact page and identify the article and detail. We review correction requests and, when a change is warranted, correct the text and make the nature of the change clear where appropriate.

Partnerships and illustrations

Partner material and paid placements are labelled so readers can distinguish them from editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where that applies, the illustration is identified as AI-generated. Images support the explanation and are not presented as documentary evidence unless they genuinely serve that purpose.
